A tender, cozy morning to release what’s heavy… and create a living “comfort book” you can return to all year.
Saturday, January 31st
10:00am–1:00pm (arrive 9:45am)
truth be told: January can feel like pressure. new goals, new habits, “new you.”
But Imbolc—also known as Candlemas / St. Brigid’s Day—is different. It’s the turning point between winter and spring. The light is returning slowly… and we get to tend the first flame with gentleness.
This is your RE-New Year: a conscious renewal that honors your nervous system, your real life, and the parts of you that need softness—not another to-do list.
What you’ll experience…
In this 3-hour gathering, we’ll move through:
A grounding opening circle (container setting + intentions)
A short teaching on Imbolc + the “Groundhog Day” pattern (the loops we repeat when we’re overwhelmed)
A guided body + intuition meditation to listen for what your system truly needs
A deep, mostly-silent creative hour to begin your Comfort Book
A witnessing circle to name what you’re learning and what you’re ready to renew
Integration + take-home practice so this isn’t just a beautiful morning—it's a shift you can keep living
Afterward: optional potluck lunch + connection (stay and linger if you’d like).
Isabelle & Valerie
Hi, we’re Isabelle & Valerie — co-facilitators of the Happy RE-New Year Gathering and lovers of cozy ritual, nervous-system comfort, and creative renewal.
This gathering was born from a simple truth we both keep coming back to: real change doesn’t come from pressure — it comes from safety, tenderness, and the kind of support that helps you actually listen to yourself. Imbolc is that threshold moment between winter and spring, and we’re creating a morning that honors it… a soft landing where you can release what’s heavy and begin again in a way that feels doable in real life.
When we’re not holding circles or gathering women around a table of magazines, candles, and glue sticks, you can find us taking deep breaths, tending our homes and families, sipping tea, and collecting tiny pieces of beauty — words, textures, colors — the kind of things that remind the body it’s safe to be here.
We can’t wait to welcome you into this RE-New Year.
Life can be pretty beautiful.
Sometimes you just need a little help making it that way.
